New Adaptation of Kaufman/Gershwin’s “Strike Up the Band” at Carnegie Hall – October 29, 2024

Strike Up the Band Returns to Carnegie Hall!

On October 29, 2024, MasterVoices brings a fresh adaptation of Strike Up the Band to Carnegie Hall, reviving George S. Kaufman and the Gershwins’ brilliant satire. Set in the 1920s, this fast-paced comedy takes aim at America’s obsession with war, blending Kaufman’s witty script with Gershwin’s unforgettable melodies, including “The Man I Love” and “I’ve Got a Crush On You.”

The show, directed by Tony Award winner Ted Sperling, features the 100-voice MasterVoices Chorus and an outstanding cast.
